Ingredients for Fried Arabi
Arabi – 200gms
Ajwain [caraway seeds] – 1/4 tsp
Green Chilies – 2 [chopped]
Ginger Paste – 1/4 tsp
Sendha Namak [rock slat] to taste
Dry Mango Powder – 1/4 tsp
Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp
Oil for frying
Method of Preparing Fried Arabi
Boil the Arabi and peel, and cut into two
Heat oil in a pan and put caraway seeds [ajwain] when it starts spluttering, add ginger paste and chopped green chilies and fry for 2 minutes. Add arabi pieces, dry mango powder and stir on low flame.
Add pepper powder, red chilli powder, rock salt and coriander powder. Mix well and serve hot
