Ingredients for Potato Tikki
Potatoes – 2
Grnn peas -- 1/4 cup[cooked]
Chopped ginger -- 1 tbsp
Green chillies -- 1 [chopped]
Sendha namak to taste
Green Chilies – 2
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp [chopped]
Method of Preparing Potato Tikki
Boil, peel and mash the potatoes. Add salt and pepper and knead until properly mixed.
Mash the cooked green peas and add chopped green chillies, salt,chopped coriander leaves and chopped ginger.
Take small portion of potato and make a ball.
Flatten each ball at a round patty and place a small portion of a stuffing in the center and fold the edges together very finely, so that mixture does not come out.. Heat oil in a non stick pan, and shallow fry the potato tikkies, till golden brown.
Serve hot with green chutney.
