The control of  food is essential for diabetic patients. Many diabetic patients are control their blood glucose by losing weight that is possible only be by taking of proper diet. Food with fibers, such as vegetables, fruits, cereals helps in lowering the blood glucose level. Diabetic patients should have tea without sugar. Bitter gourd is a good vegetable for diabetic patients.  It is used as a food or medicine. It contains high dosage of plant insulin. It lowers the blood sugar level effectively.  Have a juice of bitter gourd juice every morning on an empty stomach. Ragi is also good for diabetics.
Fenugreek [methi] it is also helped to control the diabetics.  Soak some seeds overnight and have the water the seeds were soaked. Indian blackberry jamun is very effective in preventing and controlling diabetics. Garlic is used to control diabetics. Onion also good for diabetics, because of its diuretic and digestive properties. It works against diabetics.
