Khoya Burfi Holi Recipe


Khoya Burfi is authentic Indian dessert recipe. It is tasty and healthy. Learn how to make easy way of preparing Khoya  Burfi.

Ingredients for Khoya Burfi

Milk – 2 liter
Sugar – 250 gms
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Pistachio – ½ cup
Silver sheet – 1

Method of Preparing Khoya Burfi

 Heat the milk in a thick bottom pan on high flame and stirring occasionally. When it stars boiling reduce the fame. Stir continuously. When the milk gets thick, remove it from the fire.
Add the powdered sugar and mix gently till the sugar dissolves and allow to cool.
Add cardamom powder and chopped pistachio and mix well.
Press silver sheets on the thickened milk mixture.  Cut it into small square shape, when it becomes cool.
Khoya Burfi is ready.
